Q: It's years since I last studied, do your courses allow for people like
me?
A: Learning with the Regent Academy is unlike formal study. You simply study
at your leisure, at home or anywhere else that's convenient for you. Our courses
are designed to be as straight forward as possible - and being easy to follow
means you can make progress quickly.
Q: Are your courses full time?
A: No, you take your Regent Academy course in your own time, at your own pace.
So it will fit around all aspects of your life, business or personal.
Q: How long will my course take me, how much time will I need to study each
week?
A: Allow yourself at least six months. If you can study more than a few hours
a week you could complete your course quicker. However, you could take 12 months
or even longer, it's entirely up to you - you can take up to three years at
no extra cost.
Q: Do I get personal tuition on my course?
A: Yes. You will receive personal tuition from one of the Regent Academy's experts.
Each one is a successful professional with an in-depth understanding of home-study
based on years of experience. Your personal tutor is there to give you help
or guidance on your course. You can contact them by phone, fax or email.
Q: What exactly do your fees include?
A: All your lessons, assignments, course materials, tutoring and the Regent Academy Advisory Service. You also receive additional
free study aids, such as CDs and reference books, to make your learning experience
even more enjoyable. The entire cost of each course is only a fraction of what
you would pay at other recognised colleges.
Q: Will the assignments I complete be sent back to me?
A: Yes. All the work you submit will be returned by your tutor, together with
their constructive criticism and encouraging remarks. Many of your assignments
can be included in your portfolio of work, should you wish to start a new career.
